Our Staff

Our audiologists are committed to ongoing training to provide the most up to date care. They help you to understand your hearing loss and options to allow you to make informed decisions about your hearing health care.

Tom Putaansuu, M.Ed.
Owner/ Audiologist

"Prior to coming to Olympia in 1993, I had worked with a group of ENT physicians in Virginia. I had spent my childhood on the Olympic Peninsula and knew that I wanted to return to Washington State following completion of my degree in Audiology from James Madison University.

I've met a lot of wonderful people throughout my career and I've seen a lot of progress in technology. The past couple years have been the most exciting with digital and Bluetooth advancements.

Seth Garcia, AuD.
Audiologist

Seth received his B.S. from Utah State University and Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Washington. He continues to educate himself on the newest hearing aid technology. Seth places special emphasis on patient care and improving peoples lives through better hearing.

Seth lives in Olympia with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and playing sports with his family.

Stefanie Denney
Office Manager/Marketing Coordinator

Stefanie has been working with Hearing Healthcare Center since 2006. Her main goal is to be sure that each patients needs are met, acting as the patients advocate. She also handles the marketing and advertising for all of our offices.

After attending Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Stefanie moved to Olympia in 2003. She was married in '08 and loves married life. She and her husband enjoy camping, watching movies and cooking together.

Elena Kingsbury
Billing Manager

Elena has been part of the Hearing Healthcare Center team since August 2007. She earned her Medical Insurance Billing and Coding certificate in June 2007. Her main priority is to work with your insurance company to help you receive your maximum allowable benefits in an expeditious manner.

After getting married in 2005, Elena moved to Washington State. She has lived in Olympia with her husband and daughter since 2006. She enjoys cooking and sewing in her free time.

Juliana McDonald
Office Manager

Juliana has been taking care of patients at Hearing Healthcare Center since October 2008. She is actively involved with providing the best patient care possible.

Juliana moved from Michigan to Olympia in 2008 after her husband got back from Afghanistan. They have two little girls, whom they love taking to the park and having family movie nights with.
